Combining their two passions and made it their work.
Tony (Anthony I, left) and Anthony (Anthony II, right) always shared two passions that became their father and son bonds: baseball and grilling. So its no surprise that they held this vision of starting a BBQ restaurant in the area where Anthony II was raised since March of 2015. Shortly after Anthony's college graduation, they partnered up and started running a catering business called River Forest Catering (now called BaseHit Catering). They then started competing in summer festivals all around the Chicago area, to test their homemade sauce which is called "BASE". This secret sauce has created a name for itself across the city of Chicago, winning recognition at festivals like WingOut and RibFest.
